Carnival!

Yesterday was amazing! I don´t have classes on Friday and so I got to sleep in. Pilar got really upset at her children for not trying to help her fix the computer and the wifi. She called the internet provider and said that she would switch providers to help her figure out what the problem is. The company ended up giving her a technician for free. Then in the evening Mel, Nicole, Heather, Becca, and I went out to an "American" restaurant which was really good. I got a milkshake for dessert because I didn´t have my first day of school milkshake. I somehow ended up getting whipped cream in my hair! I´m not really sure how that happened. I think I was so excited to try the whipped cream it fell off my spoon and into my hair. It was Carnival so lots of people were dressed up in costumes!  Afterward, we were trying to decide where we wanted to go. Heather´s host brother was deejaying at bar called Marshmellow. It sounds fluffy and yummy! We didn´t get that far. We ended up getting serenaded by a band of drunk older men. It was kinda of funny! Then we stumbled upon a band, they were dressed up as a cow, turtle, and a bull, and some other costumes too! Following them was a group of dancing penguins! We followed them until they went into a bar. Then we wandered for a bit and ended up at a place called Pecadillos which was 1€ tapas. Then since Heather´s house was the closest we ended up going over to her house. Heather had problems opening the door until we left and then she was able to get the door open! We just sat and watched T.V.! It was very low key and then tonight we were are going to find the big parade at 7 p.m. that goes through the Arco de Santa Maria. I hope I can see it. I hear that there is going to be a Chinese Dragon!
